Cancer
Society
	The American Cancer Society (ACS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with cancer and their families. As a Digital Graphic Designer on the Marketing &#38;amp; Communications team, I help translate the ACS mission and brand strategy into compelling visual experiences across digital and print.

My work spans national fundraising campaigns, awareness initiatives, partnerships, and enterprise communications, including campaign identities, paid media, social content, digital signage, merchandise, apparel, event graphics, and marketing collateral. I also contribute to the development and evolution of ACS sub-brands, logos, reusable brand assets, templates, and visual systems to maintain consistency across the organization.

Working cross-functionally with marketing, communications, content, and program teams, I help bring projects from early ideation and creative development through stakeholder presentation and final production.

	As part of the BFA Integrated Design Program at Parsons School of Design, Class of 2022, I had the opportunity to collaborate with a team of fellow designers to create a catalog showcasing the breadth of work, disciplines, and creative practices within the program.

Created for the Integrated Design Program, the catalog served as a collective representation of our graduating class and the diverse approaches to design developed throughout our time at Parsons. My role focused on the cover design, yearbook section, and visual layout, helping establish a cohesive visual system that brought together the work and identities of multiple designers.

	Sustaining Seed
	Sustainingseed is an independent educational platform created to make sustainability and conscious consumerism more accessible to younger audiences. Designed for Instagram, the project brings environmental education into an existing daily habit scrolling through social media by transforming complex topics into approachable, visually engaging content.

Conceptualized prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Sustainingseed explored the emerging potential of Instagram carousel posts as a format for visual storytelling and education. Through a combination of research, graphic design, illustration, and information design, I developed a visual identity and content system that could break down topics surrounding sustainability, consumerism, and our relationship with the planet into concise, digestible narratives.

The project explores how design and social media can work together not only to capture attention, but to make important information easier to understand, share, and incorporate into everyday life.

	Sustained Hawai‘i is a zero-waste initiative based on O‘ahu, Hawai‘i, created to make sustainable living more accessible through the simple act of refilling.

The concept responds to a growing problem: our everyday routines create an enormous amount of single-use plastic. Products like hand soap, laundry detergent, shampoo, and conditioner are purchased repeatedly, often requiring a new plastic container each time.

Sustained Hawai‘i offers an alternative. Through a bulk refill system, customers can bring their own containers and replenish the everyday products they need—reducing unnecessary packaging and extending the life of bottles already in circulation.

Rooted in Hawai‘i, the concept connects everyday consumer choices to the environment immediately surrounding us. By making reuse convenient and approachable, Sustained Hawai‘i aims to reduce our dependence on single-use plastics and help keep them out of Hawai‘i’s landfills and oceans.

	Honua Expandable Furniture
	
Honua is a modular furniture concept inspired by the mountainous piles of discarded furniture lining the streets of New York City. It challenges the cycle of “fast furniture” by asking a simple question: What if our furniture could change with us instead of being thrown away?

Designed with city dwellers in mind, Honua proposes a system of adaptable furniture that can evolve alongside changing spaces, lifestyles, and stages of life extending the lifespan of the objects we bring into our homes.

&#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;Honua begins with the bed frame, an everyday object that is often replaced as our living situations and needs change.

Instead of purchasing an entirely new frame when moving to a larger mattress, Honua uses a modular extension system that allows one bed frame to grow from Twin to Full, Queen, and eventually King. Additional components can be purchased as needed, allowing the product to expand rather than be replaced.

By designing for change instead of disposal, Honua proposes a more intentional approach to furniture ownership: buy what you need today, and adapt it for what you need tomorrow.
